Open the disk image
Double-click the downloaded .dmg, then drag Cloak into your Applications folder.
Launch Cloak
Open it from Applications. There's no Dock icon; look for the hood mark in your menu bar.
Grant two permissions
On first use macOS asks for Screen Recording and Input Monitoring. Both are required for capture and hotkeys.
What Cloak asks for
Two macOS permissions, nothing more. Your API keys live only on your Mac, and the overlay is hidden from Zoom, Meet, Teams, and every recorder.
Screen Recording
Lets Cloak read the question on your screen. The overlay itself stays invisible to every recorder.
Input Monitoring
Powers the global Right-Option hotkeys so you never touch the mouse or switch windows.
Cloak updates itself automatically. You can also trigger Check for Updates… from the menu-bar icon at any time.
